Is my data secure with Magnity?

Yes. Absolutely.
IWe store your data on Amazon’s secure servers and back it up daily. We follow modern security best practices across our infrastructure. More details below.

Do you sell or share customer data?

Never.
We collect your personal information whenever you interact wYour data is yours. Always. No selling, no sharing. And internally, access is strictly limited to a need-to-know basis.

Encrypted communication, always

All communication between your browser and Magnity is encrypted using HTTPS and SSL/TLS protocols. This protects the integrity and privacy of your data while you work with us – just like your online banking system.

Even if your own site runs on HTTP, your customers’ data is still encrypted when interacting with Magnity-powered experiences.

Data hosting on Umbraco Cloud (Microsoft Azure)

Your data is hosted on Umbraco Cloud, which operates on Microsoft Azure’s European data centres. All customer data is stored securely in compliance with the EU GDPR.

  • High availability through Azure’s scalable infrastructure

  • Enterprise-grade physical and digital security

Microsoft Azure holds certifications including SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR compliance.

Secure login with MFA (coming soon)

Magnity uses secure, standard login credentials (email + password) to protect your account. We’re rolling out multi-factor authentication (MFA) to add an extra layer of protection.

  • Passwords are hashed and salted using industry best practices.

  • Login attempts are rate-limited and monitored to prevent abuse.

  • MFA (email + time-based code) will soon be available for all accounts.

Role-based access & internal controls

Admins have full control over who can access your Magnity workspace and at what permission level. On our end, only a select few support and engineering staff can access customer environments — and only when explicitly required (e.g. onboarding or debugging).

All access is logged for transparency and auditability.
