Define the buyer once. Every agent writes to them.
Build, edit and apply persona and industry context to what content says.
What it does
The Persona Agent shapes what the content says, adapting it to an audience, persona or industry.
It does not select who receives it, segment the database, manage consent or replace CRM.
Capabilities
Build and maintain the personas your marketing addresses — role, priorities, objections and the questions they ask at each stage.
Sector-specific language, use cases and concerns applied to the same message, so manufacturing does not read like professional services.
Awareness, evaluation and decision framed differently, with the message shaped to the question the buyer has right now.
The same source content adapted for each persona or industry, produced together rather than rewritten one at a time.
Emails, webpages, social posts and journeys draw on the same definitions, so the buyer is described consistently wherever they meet you.
Update a persona once and every future output follows. No re-briefing, no hunting for the latest version.
How it works
Define your buyers once
Bring the personas you already have — decks, documents, research — and configure each buyer's role, priorities, objections and the questions they ask at every stage.
Add industry and stage context
Layer sector-specific language, use cases and concerns, and the buyer's current stage, onto each persona — so the message fits the situation the buyer is actually in.
Every agent writes to them
Emails, webpages, social posts and journeys draw on the same definitions, and one approved source becomes a variant per persona, industry or stage, produced together.
Questions we get
How is this different from segmentation in our marketing automation?
Segmentation decides who receives a message. The Persona Agent decides what that message says to them. Your lists, targeting and consent stay in your CRM and automation platform; Magnity adapts the content for the audience those systems have already chosen.
Do we need to rebuild our personas from scratch?
No. Bring the personas you have — decks, documents, research — and configure them once. The agent works from your definitions rather than generic templates. If they are incomplete, Ramp-up includes building them out.
Can one piece of content serve several personas?
Yes. One approved source becomes a variant per persona, industry or buying stage, produced together rather than rewritten one at a time. The source stays identifiable, so you can see what each variant came from.
Is it included in the licence?
Yes. The Persona Agent is included in every Magnity plan, alongside the Content, Rule and Translation Agents. It is never licensed separately.
Is this a separate tool for my team?
No. Personas and industry context are built and maintained in the admin section, and their effect shows up inside the Content, Email, Web, Social Media and Journey Flow Agents as content already written for the right buyer.
Works with every agent. Wherever an agent produces a variant for a persona, industry or buying stage, it is the Persona Agent's definitions doing the shaping.
What doesn't the Persona Agent do?
It does not segment. The Persona Agent shapes what the content says. Selecting who receives it, managing lists and consent, and targeting stay in your CRM and marketing automation.
It does not invent the buyer. Personas are built from your definitions and research. The agent applies them; it does not replace the work of knowing your customer.
It is only as good as your definitions. A thin persona produces thin adaptation. Building complete personas is real work, and it is part of what Ramp-up covers.
